Warehouse

Summary:

Standard Application

 

Summary:

Responsible for driving bulk, swing-tail, side-bay trucks with a capacity of at least 26,000 GVW to transport, deliver and pick-up beverage products. Required to load and/or unload truck. Requires commercial drivers license, Class A or B. Perform daily pre-route inspection of vehicle to ensure that supplies and equipment such as fuel, oil, water, tires and brakes are within appropriate ranges of safety for proper working condition. Verify the contents of inventory on truck against route invoices. Ability to lift between 35 and 40lbs throughout the duration of shift.

Driver Application

Summary:

Responsible for building product orders and transporting the merchandise to dock areas and loading onto a variety of truck types for delivery to retail accounts. Reads work orders, invoices and/or code dates and listens to oral instructions to determine work assignments. Capable of building special orders in a timely and accurate manner. Ability to communicate with co-workers in a positive and team oriented manner. Transports product to and from designated areas using expertise in the operation of two-wheeler, six wheel cart and/or manual and electric pallet jacks. Proficiency in operation of forklift in a safe manner. Load product from designated areas onto bulk, swingtail and/or sidebay trucks. Unload trucks with incoming product and rotate warehouse stock. Perform physical activities in the regular course of a workday that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving whole body such as climbing, balancing, walking, lifting, bending, and stooping. Ability to lift between 35 and 40lbs throughout the duration of shift.

Summary:

Performs routine maintenance checks and adjustments on fluid levels, hoses, belts, brakes, tires and clutches. Changes filters and oil and lubricate vehicles. Diagnoses problems, disassembles units, repairs or replaces parts.

Follow checklists to ensure all important parts are examined, including belts, hoses, steering systems. Spark plugs, brake and fuel systems, wheel bearings and other potentially troublesome areas. Review work orders and discuss work with foreman. Plan work procedures, using charts, technical manuals and experience. Repair, reline, replace and/or adjust brakes. Test and adjust repaired systems to meet manufacturers’ performance specifications. Perform routine and scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes. Lubrications and tune-ups. Disassemble units and inspect parts for wear, using micrometers, calipers and gauges. Overhaul or replace carburetors, blowers, generators, distributors, starters and pumps. Repair and service air conditioning, heating, engine-cooling and electrical systems. Rewire ignition systems, lights and instrument panels. Repair or install radiators. Install and repair accessories such as radios, heaters, mirrors and windshield wipers. Repair or replace shock absorbers. Align vehicle front ends. Replace and adjust headlights.

Summary:

Oversees Warehouse Department work crews comprised of CDL drivers, warehouse persons & other personnel to ensure tasks as delegated by the Operations Manager are implemented in an efficient, safe and profitable manner. Directs and oversees all warehouse personnel to ensure the completion of all work loads, including route deliveries, loading & unloading of trucks and same day orders. Responsible for the delegation of duties to insure the continual organization and cleanliness of warehouse. Facilitate driver, warehouseman meetings to address any and all work and safety related issues. Schedule shifts for all warehouse personnel and coordinate with router to ensure all delivery routes are scheduled in an efficient manner. Maintain warehouse personnel vacation board. Monitor breakage product to ensure that repackaging and/or destruction of product are completed in a competent manner. Conduct accident investigations and/or delegate foreman to do the same. Conduct initial meetings with personnel to address any work related issues and report such to Operations Mgr. and/or Human Resource Mgr. Report excessive absenteeism and/or tardiness to Human Resources Mgr. Facilitate and/or delegate to Foreman the completion of CDL / DOT applicant on road driver tests. Monitor the vehicle maintenance program and ensure its compliance. Facilitate safety orientation for new warehouse employees and ensure paperwork is completed and turned into to HR Mgr. If needed, unload/load trucks, complete deliveries, pick-up stranded vehicles. Responsible for the completion and maintenance of the following paperwork: incoming & outgoing freight, special events, pick-up & credit invoices, salesman check-out invoices, weekly overtime list. Schedule forklift and pallet jack maintenance and maintain all related paperwork. Meet with Operations Mgr. 2-3 times weekly for ongoing directives concerning all of the aforementioned duties and to ensure that they are being completed and maintained at a professional level of competence. Recommends and/or administers employee hiring, firing and discipline.

Summary:

Assures effective distribution of assigned Company products and attainment of designated sales objectives by carrying out duties and responsibilities of selling, servicing and merchandising of Company products to accounts within assigned area. Adheres strictly to account service schedule and route assignment as directed by sales management. Develops a working knowledge of credits, reporting credit problems and/or complaints. Checks Company products and point-of-sale within each account to ensure proper distribution, position and merchandise of products. Pulls forward, stocks and rotates products as necessary and/or required. Completes a total inventory of Company products within assigned accounts, including checking of code dates and a written notation of codes on a route card for follow-up. Builds orders to appropriate inventory, taking into consideration current account trends. Takes inventory prior to receiving order from retailer as to suggest additional sales as situation requires, based on past sales and/or current sales. Attempts to sell accounts new items, promote displays, improve box positions and install and/or book point-of-sale material. Checks point-of-sale material to ensure that it is in an effective area and operational and clean. Checks price of products selling on shelves. Communicates to assigned accounts pertinent information, including but not limited to advertising, prices, Company and/or brewery programs and trends. Offers suggestions to retailers for increasing sales of Company products through merchandising concepts, including floor displays, point-of-sale material and product promotion. Records appropriate information after each sale and completes other reports as required. Collects bad checks and calls on slow paying accounts to collect payments or to make arrangements for retailer to pay debt.

Assists sales managers with planning, opening and organizing and maintaining new accounts. Sells Company products and service patterns to new accounts and assists in their implementation. Summary:

Assist sales personnel by servicing and merchandising retail accounts in a professional, efficient and courteous manner. Build displays according to Company standards. Stock Bonanza Beverage Company products on shelves. Replenish all displays from back stock whenever needed. Rotate all stock on displays within a seven day period or if month changes, (top to bottom / front to back).

Coordinate and document all pertinent information for special events. Write special event sheets for Draft and Warehouse Departments as per procedure. Coordinate and assist in preparing all equipment for each special event. Deliver and/or coordinate the delivery of all special event equipment. Set-up and work as directed any special events requiring assistance. Breakdown and document all special event details and log completion. Write and distribute all invoices for equipment rentals, deposits and product. Repair if needed and return all equipment as necessary.

Summary:

Maintain filing of invoices. Compute, classify and record data to keep records complete.
